I lie in bed at night and run my fingers down my leg and my back and my arm and everywhere else that you touched and try to recreate the fireworks that went off in each one of the molecules of my body. and every night I wish for just one more night lying side by side and reminiscing about who we are and who we want to be and the way the world revolves around the sun and how pretty your eyes look in the morning and how easily my hair knocks and now I’m just here and you’re there and the sun shines at different times and while you wake up in the morning I lie awake at night with the moon glowing and wishing you were here.
